Newell Tuition Limited provide private education through one-to-one tuition, group tuition and mock exams (collectively, the “Service(s)”).

Through an online webstore and other third-party sellers, Newell Tuition Limited also provide educational materials such as practice exam papers and study books (collectively, the “Good(s)”).

The Services are operated by Newell Tuition Limited (the “Company”, “we” or “us”) for users of the Services (“you”).

This privacy policy sets forth our policy with respect to information that is collected from users of the Services and customers purchasing our Goods.

Under applicable law, Newell Tuition Limited is the “data controller” of personal data collected through the Services or purchases of the Goods.


Reasons for collecting your information

We collect information from you about you or your child to enable us to provide the Goods or Services you have requested. In the case of all of our Services, your contact details will be held so that we can communicate with you, for as long as our Services are required by you.

When your child is engaged in one-to-one tuition, we will also store information regarding your child’s progress so that we can better provide the Services you have requested.

In the case of mock exams, your child’s results will be collected in order that we can provide you with their results and an assessment of those results. This information will also be used to create group averages which will be shared with all candidates.

You can also give consent for us to store and use your contact details to keep you informed of other Goods and Services provided by Newell Tuition Limited which we think may be of interest to you.


Data storage and sharing

The information you provide will be held in a cloud storage system “Dropbox” which is password controlled. Access to your information is restricted to the management and administration staff of the Company as well as your tutor, should you engage in the one-to-one tuition Service. If you make any payments online, the personal data that you provide will be shared with “World Pay”, a third party Data Processor, in order for your payment to be processed.

We will NOT share any of your information with any other parties.


Retention of data

When your information has been stored as a result of engaging in our Services, it will be deleted at the beginning of the academic year that follows the period in which the Services were provided (during September of that year).

Email communications sent by you to the company will be stored for an additional year in order that the information stored within them can be retrieved, should it become necessary during that period of time.

Your data may be retained for longer periods if you have given consent for your information to be stored for the purposes of us informing you of other Goods and Services provided by the Company that may be of interest to you.

Again, we will NOT pass on this information to anyone else and you have the right to ask to be removed from this circulation list at any time by contacting us.

Data may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for additional time.



We take reasonable steps to protect the information provided by you from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
